Yesterday while getting ready to head for my gym I was flossing and one of my caps came off. This was a little after 9 AM and I called the Del Mar Family Dentistry and explained the situation. The gal on the phone said try to be at the office by 10 AM. I actually got there a bit before that and was sitting in the dentist chair at 10. Dr Fitzpatrick came in to check and request a couple x-rays. Then Dr Fitzpatrick came in and proceeded to smooth out what was left of the root covered by the old cap. He recommended that that put on a temporary cap as there was a gap if they were to re-cement the old cap. So I picked the new cap direction and left the office a little over an hour after I got there and was so thankful they were able to fit me in on such short notice.
From the moment I walked in for the first time I felt comfortable and confident I had made the right choice. And after my first visit it was confirmed. YES these are the dentists, staff and dental office I have been wishing and waiting for. Thank you Del Mar Family Dentistry.
I’ve been going to Del Mar Family Dentistry for 25 years, and they are excellent. Fillings, crowns, cleanings, etc are all done with the highest professionalism. They make the web of insurance claims easy. Their new offices in Solana Beach are gorgeous, complete with calming videos/movies on a ceiling screen. Highly recommended.
Amazing place! Been going for 15 years. Always on time, never have to wait. Dr Trudeau is a perfectionist and his staff is outstanding. Some of them are still there from 15 years ago. Don’t be deceived by the Del Mar address. This place is very reasonable for what you get. No need to be afraid of going to the dentist anymore. PS Check out their dental plan, it really makes dentistry affordable for those who don’t have dental coverage. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.
Wait time: short. Staff is very kind. Practitioners are skilled: I have never felt any pain during any of my visits, nor have I ever been disappointed with any of the results. Also, appointments go very smooth.
I have been going to Dr. Trudeau’s office for over a year now. I have received services from regular cleanings and check ups to root canals and Invisalign. The level of care and friendly staff is far above any dentist office I have ever visited. They truly prioritize my oral health above all else and the root canal, crown and cleanings are the highest quality I have ever received. I would recommend this office to anyone that needs a trustworthy dentist the delivers the highest quality dental care.
I started going to Dr. Trudeau about 6 months ago after I was referred to him by a co-worker. I had been to a few different dentists within the past few years, and wasn’t completely satisfied with their work, office, staff, etc. After my first visit to Dr. Trudeau, I knew I had finally found THE one. My first visit consisted of a normal cleaning and check-up, and have since started seeing him for some cosmetic dentistry. I honestly feel that Dr. Trudeau is genuine and his main focus is to give you the perfect smile, not to sell you unnecessary treatment. I feel comfortable talking to him about any concerns I may have, and completely trust his work and judgment. I would highly recommend Dr. Trudeau to anyone!
I remember one time at Christmas having a few problems with my teeth and calling up Dr. Trudeau at home. He didn’t seem to mind that. He assured me that everything would be fine, and it was.
Dr. Trudeau has done a really good job of diagnosing some pretty serious problems with my front teeth and prevented a lot of bone damage in my mouth as a result of that.
My wife and I have both had veneers here. Dr Trudeau’s suggestions about the color and the size and what we wanted to do were just spot on. We’re just ecstatic with the work.
